Hot Springs Forum Information
The Arkansas Climate Awareness Project (ARCAP) is hosting three forums in mid-September in Hot Springs, Stuttgart, and Monticello to discuss potential impacts of global warming on the Natural State. The forums will also focus on the role Arkansas can play in solutions to fight global warming pollution. Many of these solutions, such as biofuels, solar energy and carbon sequestration, show promise in helping to reduce global warming pollution while providing economic opportunities for the state.
The forums will consist of presentations from local global warming, agricultural and renewable energy experts. Speakers will discuss: global warming science and the impacts of global warming on south-eastern Arkansas, opportunities for the agricultural sector to help combat global warming and economic opportunities for the state.
