8/17/2007 Little Rock Forum

The Arkansas Climate Awareness Project is pleased to invite you to a forum discussing potential impacts of global warming on the Natural State.

This forum will be held on Friday, August 17, from 8:30am-1:30pm at the William J. Clinton Presidential Library's Great Hall. The forum sessions will consist of presentations from global warming, agricultural, policy, and renewable energy experts. Speakers will discuss global warming science and the impacts of global warming on Arkansas.

This forum will also focus on the role Arkansas' agricultural community can play in solutions to global warming. Many of these solutions, such as biofuels, solar energy, and carbon sequestration, show promise in helping to reduce global warming pollution while providing economic opportunities for the state.
